Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Lab Supervisor  Description Supervise support staff with supervisory duties including instructing, planning, assigning work, reviewing work, maintaining standards, coordinating activities, selecting new employees, completing performance reviews, allocating personnel, acting on employee problems, recommending employee discipline, discharge and salary increases. Supervises and performs quality control procedures and equipment calibrations. Provide and document staff competency training. Ensure regular maintenance of laboratory equipment. Conduct site visits on a regular basis to check for compliance and assess maintenance and equipment needs. Ensure compliance by all laboratory employees with all FHC, CLIA, TJC policies and procedures as well as all applicable infection control and safety procedures. Prepare and perform tests on specimens and/or process specimens for shipment to an out-source laboratory, recording and delivering results. Maintain adequate laboratory supplies. Evaluate the need for and requests the procurement of new laboratory equipment. Exhibit compliance with FHC's corporate compliance policy.   Position Requirements A Bachelor's degree in biology.
