OUR MISSION: To help everyone achieve their personal best by providing the finest aquatic educational, competitive, therapeutic and recreational programs.   Description Position Summary: Under general supervision, this position supports the day to day operations of the swim lesson department. Representatives interact with customers face to face, answering emails and phone calls, returning voicemails, registering clients and managing current customers accounts all while providing excellent customer service. All staff at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center lead through a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, both within the RBAC and with the communities that we serve. General Responsibilities: Administrative Duties: Assist in proactively marketing and expanding swim lesson programs Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails Generate sales leads to increase enrollment Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Enroll and schedule new and existing students Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies, and lead by example Provide detailed verbal and written account information Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all students, patrons, staff and directors On Deck Duties: Greet and assist customers Daily attendance of swim instructors and students Supervise swim instructors at times Perform as a swim instructor, if needed Maintain a clean, fun and safe environment for all employees and patrons Performs other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Qualifications: Experience: Customer service experience Experience supervising others Must be or become CPR certified within 30 days of being hired   Skills Patient and Attentive Punctual and Reliable Track record of completing tasks and reaching goals Competent computer and audio-visual skills Ability to interact with diverse groups of people through a variety of situations Ability to listen to customers’ needs and find best solution Strong communication skills High level of emotional maturity Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independently Detail oriented and highly organized Outstanding customer service skills Positive attitude   Abilities Ability to learn all the various programs offered at the facility Ability to stay calm, be patient, and work well under pressure Ability to lead others Ability to use independent judgment when needed Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization   Working Conditions: Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment and outdoors with potentially inclement weather conditions. Little to no travel required. Position requires regular contact with the public.
