The CNA will provide personal patient care services to residents under the supervision of the Home Care Supervisor within all levels of care. Maintains accurate and objective written and oral communications through the use of the problem-oriented record system. Plans and completes patient care assignments, assisting patients with all activities of daily living. Participates in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the individual patient plan of care as a part of the interdisciplinary team. Maintains and insures the personal rights of all patients through knowledge of and advocacy of the Patient's Bill of Rights. Establishes safe and accurate working habits in the delivery of individual patient care. Participates in ongoing education to extend knowledge and improve skills. Participates in the orientation of new staff members. Assists in the development of Health Service programs. Actively participates in monitoring the medical alert and fire alarm systems.   Position Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent. Certified as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania. Proven ability to read, write and follow verbal instructions. Previous related experience strongly preferred. Able to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., bending, stooping, reaching and lifting a maximum of 25 lbs   Salary   About the Organization Pennswood Village is a nationally respected Senior Living Community (CCRC) for people 65 and over.
