Description

POSITION PURPOSE

Under minimal direction, designs, maintains, and coordinates the facilities, physical security, and purchasing division. Develops and oversees programs for lease portfolio management, owned facility management, physical security, audio visual security systems, preventative and reactive maintenance, construction and general project management. Manages budgets and compliance. Oversees vendor contracts and performance and works collaboratively with other leaders to drive value and align with the Credit Union’s Vision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Optimize facilities, security, and safety across the organization, satisfying our operating plan, and complying with credit union policies and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement standards, strategies, policies, and procedures for leased and owned facilities and physical assets.
• Partner with site management to ensure clean, safe, operational, efficient, team member focused maintenance programs at all sites.
• Maintain an enterprise-wide security system that partners with outside vendors and internal IT to meet organization, law-enforcement, and team member requirements.
• Collaborate with Information Security and Business Continuity, taking the lead on matters of physical security and safety issues.
• Conduct physical security training at new employee orientation as well as perform robbery training and branch alarm checks.
• Ensure Safety and Physical Security Committee meetings occur on a regular basis and work to resolve issues raised by the committee in a manner consistent with Credit Union policy. Provide a safe and inviting environment for employees and members.
• Align the Facilities strategic division plan with the credit union’s strategic vision and manage expense and capital spend to the approved budget.
• Create and implement guidelines for vendor selection and how vendor relationships are managed.
• Manage procurement, maintaining inventory and ordering printed material and all Credit Union supplies, negotiating with suppliers to obtain products and services at the best cost.
• Demonstrate excellence in serving internal customers through strong collaboration, interpersonal skills, and inclusive decision-making.
• Ensure appropriate infrastructure, tools and techniques, standardizing procedures to gain efficiencies and promote consistency.
• Establish effective monitoring and reporting procedures through regular site visits, facility and security assessments, and analyses. Compile clear, accurate and timely reports and metrics.
• Performs all responsibilities in accordance with CW Values, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements.
• Attend training and comply with CWCU policies and procedures as well as applicable State and Federal regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Analytical problem solver with the ability to quickly assess the situation, develop solid recommendations, communicate with impacted parties, and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbally and in writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft programs at an intermediate skill level.
• Able to manage and execute multiple complex projects within required timelines and expectations.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships internally and with vendor and community partners.
• Goal-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement and a desire to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-directed when necessary as well as the ability to accomplish goals in a team environment.
• Proven track record developing teams, exhibiting sound judgment, reducing expense, and improving service.
• Ability to create and maintain accurate reliable records and produce relevant reports.
• Thorough understanding of applicable state and federal regulations and credit union policies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Appropriate certification preferred (FMP, CFM, PSC).
• Five years or more years in facility management and security, preferably in financial services.
• Possession of valid Oregon driver’s license, proof of personal vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record.
