Description

Role Summary:

This is a lead role on the Finance & Service Operations team designed to represent and support the IT Services business unit. This includes hands on reporting and analysis of P&L’s, business unit trends, profitability, forecasting, and so on. The right candidate will have the experience and self-sufficiency to help lead business strategies and improvements.

 

Duties:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis for an IT Services business unit
  • Revenue and utilization forecasting / reporting
  • Monthly P&L’s
  • Quarterly Reviews & Analysis
  • Project level accounting
  • Budgeting
  • Lead Services business unit through Service Systems & Operations processes and requirements
  • Example:  maintain and train others on system / accounting requirements for contract setup
  • Help guide Advizex through GAAP adherence and related organizational development
  • Lead customization and integration system enhancements
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Services business unit, help drive continuous improvements
  • Assist in creating reporting and pricing templates
  • Manage others on our Service Operations team

Reports to VP, Service Operations

 

 

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Expert level Excel skills
  • Solid accounting background, adherence to GAAP, and contract revenue recognition
  • Experience with NetSuite, Open Air required
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience with Service Now, SalesForce a plus
  • Understanding of IT Services business
  • Four-year accounting degree preferred
