Senior Logistics Manager 

Description

Work as the Logistics Manager supporting complex flight simulation projects within the Simulation Division at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

  • Provide analysis, planning and management support for all logistics areas, including Maintenance Planning, CM, Product and Technical Data, Supply Support, Support Equipment, and Facilities.
  • Position involves participating in the establishment and review of logistics plans (Logistics Support Plan, Trouble Report Plan, Training Plan). 
  • Develop, revise, and maintain various Logistics Documents to include, Technical Manuals, Training Course Material, Operator and Maintenance Manual (O&M), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Spares List. 
  • Coordinate with vendors and engineers in the development of a DMSMS Plan with Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) equipment, and interface with external customers to derive all provisioning and logistics requirements. 
  • Responsible for delivering and sustaining the training system to include shipment and follow-on training.
 
Position Requirements
  • Degree: N/A
  • Years of Experience: 5-10 years of experience.
  • Candidate must have legitimate relevant DoD experience in Provisioning and Logistics duties as described above.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, possessing excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. 
  • The individual must have the ability to function in both an independent and team environment, be detail orientated, and able to meet critical project schedules.
  • Candidate should have experience with coordinating and interfacing with multiple teams across different disciplines, including management, development, production, test, and operational teams.
