production company that takes a special focus on safety for our customers! We are an exciting
fast paced company, that is looking to expand our operation with an onsite general
maintenance and equipment technician!
Job Description and Responsibilities:
The Equipment / General Maintenance Technician duties will include analyzing causes of
equipment issues as well as suggesting and performing of corrective repairs on various type of
special machinery and general task. Job Duties include;
• Providing support to department managers to troubleshoot their equipment problems
and concerns.
• Perform regular inspections and PM (Preventative Maintenance), to help identify and
correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements.
• Equipment technicians help assemble, test, and maintain company equipment
• Read and understand equipment operations and maintenance manuals.
• They provide employee assistance and on-the-job training when requested and propose
improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot various hardware and software related issues as it deals with the
machinery.
• Assist with cleaning common spaces
• Routine maintenance functions; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting
• Document and create procedures for varying maintenance task and machinery
Skills and Requirements:
• High school diploma/GED
• Highly detail oriented
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problem
• Willingness and excitement to help others
• Willing to learn new systems and updated technologies
• Experience working with vendors to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
• Physically able to lift (40 lbs), bend climb and reach
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Ability to use Related Tools
• Aptitude for mechanic and repairing mechanical issues
• Ability to work in varying enviroments, determined by the weather
• Prior knowledge of laser, special format printers, CNC, and other textile machinery
systems (example: industrial sewing machines) is a plus but not required
• General contracting knowledge is a plus but not required
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus but not required
Salary Range DOE
Salary and performance review will occur at 30 and 90 days after start of employment.
