Description

The Sr Manager of Residual Value will be responsible for supporting the financial services program development for lease and retail finance programs as well as managing relationships with internal (i.e. Sales, Finance and Remarketing) and external partners (i.e. Blackbook, ALG, etc) for North America.  This role requires deep experience as a residual value management advocate and owner.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Manage residual value setting with reference to 3rd party data providers
  • Design and implement residual value governance and KPI metrics to measure risk
  • Establish residual value reforecast process to ensure ongoing monitoring and management
  • Develop regular cadence of internal benchmark, market and other reporting on residual values to National and Global leadership
  • Manage vendor relationships in relation to residual value and incentive 3rd party data
  • Support Field Sales and Sales Operations in developing Monthly Finance and Lease incentive programs
  • Support Remarketing to monitor residual value exposure and expected/realized impact
  • Provide insight and analysis on industry, market and specific KPIs
  • Effectively communicate across all levels including executive management
  • Lead various committees and workstreams with internal and external partners
  • Design and implement key processes for the organization as a whole
  • Work cross-functionally and highly collaboratively with key stakeholders
  • Partner with internal departments to align on strategies
  • Additional related-duties and responsibilities as assigned
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-7 years of progressive work experience in OEM residual value management, incentive program management, leasing, and remarketing
  • Strategic thinker with proven strength in data management, analysis, and synthesis/reporting
  • Process design experience, in particular around governance
  • Knowledge and understanding of automotive lease and loan products and life-cycle management from credit originations through to remarketing
  • Project management skills and efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
  • Growth-focused and motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Reliable and detail oriented, follows through on commitments
  • Solutions focused, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
  • Highly flexible and adaptable
