This role is crucial in helping individuals involved in the court system access the mental health and substance-use services they need. Working closely with judges, probation officers, and treatment providers, the Court Navigator will guide court-involved individuals through treatment referrals, service coordination, and court compliance support. Responsibilities: Collaborate with judges, probation officers, and court staff to identify individuals in need of behavioral health services. Conduct brief assessments to determine mental health and substance use treatment needs. Link individuals to appropriate community-based treatment and recovery services. Provide support in navigating access to services, including transportation coordination, appointment scheduling, and paperwork assistance. Track client progress and treatment compliance; provide timely updates to the court and probation officers. Attend court proceedings to provide behavioral health updates and advocate for supportive interventions. Maintain accurate records in accordance with confidentiality and legal standards. Act as a liaison between the criminal justice system and behavioral health providers.   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree & LSW/LPC required. Experience working with justice-involved populations and/or behavioral health systems preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills. Familiarity with court systems or probation processes is a plus.
