Under the direction of the ES Program Supervisor, this employee will respond to requests from the agency and community for crisis intervention services for children/adults, to include limited term community stabilization, crisis intervention, information, and referral to community resources and/or preadmission screening for inpatient psychiatric and substance abuse treatment. Benefits Sign-on bonus of $5,000 Salary Starting at $58,526 Clinical supervision provided at no cost. Health insurance as low as $21.16/month for individuals. Family and dependent plans are also available. Eleven paid holidays. Accrue up to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year from year one. PTO is immediately available upon accrual. Essential Functions Supervise a team within the Valley CSB catchment area, which consists of Augusta County, Highland County, Staunton City and Waynesboro City. Supervises a team of clinicians that provide mobile crisis responses to homes and communities for adults, adolescents and children. Provides/participates in training for communities/stakeholders/Mobile Crisis staff. Requires occasional travel within the area and the Commonwealth of Virginia for supervision, training, meetings, and mobile crisis response back-up. i.e. Minimum Requirements All applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered qualified for the position: Graduate degree required with a major course of study in Human Services acceptable by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a sufficient degree to allow licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Substance Abuse Practitioner, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Virginia license as a Registered Nurse and 36 months professional work experience with a psychiatric population. Professional licensure required. Must currently be or be eligible to become a Virginia Certified Prescreener and Certified Crisis Stabilization Provider. Must complete Agency orientations, Therapeutic Options, CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, Human Rights, Boundaries, Fire Safety, Diversity, Computer Training, False Claims Act and other trainings as required. Recertification required for Therapeutic Options, CPR, Infection Control, Human Rights, FMust currently be or be eligible to become a Virginia Certified Prescreener and Certified Crisis Stabilization Provider.alse Claims Act, First Aid and Veteran Culture. A minimum of 1 year’s supervisory experience is required. Preferred Qualification The most competitive candidates will have one or more of the following characteristics: Licensure as LPC, LCSW, or equivalent in VA required with experience in crisis services strongly preferred.
