NetSPI is looking for a strategic Managing Director, West Coast to serve our most prestigious customers. This individual will hold a key leadership role acting as a trusted advisor and customer advocate, creating and cultivating deep, long-term relationships with clients through their industry, functional, and technical expertise. They will also partner with Services, Sales, and GTM teams to expand business (both revenue and bookings) with their aligned customers. This person should be someone who is dedicated to excellence in client experience and can contribute to our company culture. Working in close partnership with customers and internal leadership, the MD will manage an assigned book of business and provide leadership and support to our multi-located teams. The ideal candidate has previously provided strategic oversight to security programs, built high-performing teams, and grown accounts, contributing to the business vision and then seeing it through to day-to-day operations. In this position, you will:

  • Act as an extension of aligned customers' security teams, understanding their program goals and driving the achievement of them
  • Play a key role in expanding our cybersecurity practice by providing excellent client-facing consulting services
  • Develop, strengthen, and expand relationships with aligned customers
  • Assist in all stages of the customer lifecycle
  • Build account development strategy, identify new opportunities to grow engagement, and drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities within aligned accounts
  • Protect revenue and drive the conversion of bookings into revenue for aligned accounts
  • Grow NetSPI wallet share within aligned accounts as well as the number of NetSPI service lines contracted
  • Ensure the consistency and exceptional quality of service delivery and the highest level of customer service (inclusive of addressing escalations that may arise from challenges) for aligned accounts
  • Reinforce the value of, drive the adoption of, and educate aligned customers on their contracted products and services with NetSPI
  • Lead, participate in, and contribute to market and business development activities external to the company, including identifying and driving new client service opportunities
  • Amplify NetSPI's presence and credibility through thought leadership, including via speaking engagements, articles, whitepapers, and media exposure
  • Contribute to the growth, experience, and institutional knowledge of NetSPI team members

To be successful in this position, you'll need to bring:

  • Experience developing accounts and building client relationships through demonstrated subject matter expertise and exceptional customer service
  • An experienced-based understanding of clients' needs and desired outcomes in cybersecurity and risk management engagements
  • Experience as a senior-level leader having established a security vision, strategy, and program, while anticipating future security and compliance challenges
  • Experience leading cybersecurity advisory engagements for global enterprise customers, consistently delivering projects on time and on budget while exceeding client expectations
  • A client services mindset and top-notch client management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging at CxO and/or Board of Directors level
  • A hands-on approach to service delivery with a bias towards collaboration and teamwork
  • Technical proficiency in a wide range of cybersecurity services and technology (ideally NetSPI), including penetration testing, attack surface management, and cybersecurity framework assessments, among others
  • Expert level of knowledge of applicable laws, compliance regulations, and industry standards as it relates to privacy, security, and compliance
  • A motivational, impactful, and collaborative leadership style
  • A results-driven and strategic mindset
  • Self-motivation with an ability to drive projects and initiatives
  • An embodiment of NetSPI culture and values
  • An ability to travel as needed to meet business demands
  • Public speaking experience and demonstrated writing ability
  • Cybersecurity industry certifications such as CISSP and/or CISM (these are a plus)
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent military experience - an advanced degree such as MS, MBA, or Juris Doctorate (JD) is a plus
