The Sr. Business Systems Analyst at Zonar works as part of the IT Business Applications team working to identify, define, and support delivery of processes and solutions within Zonar’s Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (ERP), Dynamics CRM, and Business Intelligence platforms. These robust systems help enable the business and internal end-user communities to successfully and efficiently manage and support our customers.  In this role you work directly with business stakeholders, end-users, technology partners, and solution developers on both project-based efforts and assigned day-to-day issue resolution primarily focused within the CRM platform. You will help drive the identification and scoping of solutions, support development of business/functional requirements, support the delivery of some solutions and/or work directly with ERP/CRM development and other technology resources to ensure delivery of solutions that meet agreed to specifications and requirements.  The ideal candidate will also play a crucial role in supporting the optimization and enhancement of our CRM system to best support our Sales and Sales Operations processes and collaborate closely with the user community to ensure the effective utilization of the CRM system and related ancillary tools. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be an authority and subject matter expert within your area(s) of focus, with emphasis on the Sales/Sales operations domain.
  • Analyze and understand the sales and sales operations processes within these organizations and application to back-office system(s)
  • Collaborate with peers and other technical resources on solutions and outcomes that support business and functional requirements
  • Provide administrative support on day-to-day requests from user community specific to CRM operations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, define and document business requirements for assigned projects. This may include conducting end-user interviews, process mapping, and other requirements-gathering methods
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of business processes and applications, customer needs and priorities. Make suggestions on business process improvements to promote business growth and efficiency
  • Document functional requirements utilizing various techniques including use cases, data flow diagrams, swim lanes diagrams, process/workflow diagrams, screen mock-ups, etc.
  • Conduct gap analysis and downstream impact exercises for system changes
  • Own functional delivery from end to end for assigned projects/activities
  • Facilitate and/or participate in solution testing (e.g. Beta, UAT) and related issue management.
  • Prepare assigned project and end-user documentation, system configuration documentation, and related technical reports
  • Work cross-functionally with peers to identify opportunities across systems and/or shared workflows
  • Drive and/or participate in end-user training and stakeholder reviews specific to your area of focus
  • Support assigned configuration or analysis activities specific to your area of focus

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 5+ years analyzing functional capabilities of a CRM solution (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics (preferred), Salesforce.com, NetSuite, or like solution)
  • 3+ years Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or related experience required
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Sales and/or Sales operations teams in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role
  • Experience using and/or supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or Power Pages preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse configuration and usage
  • Working knowledge of data and process mapping and modelling methodologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or like solutions
  • Experience using MS SQL preferred
  • Proven experience in software evaluation, selection, and implementation
  • Experience with supporting back-office systems focused on Sales and Sales Operations business functions preferred
  • Strong written, interpersonal, analytical, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to drive definition of improvements based on business needs
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and methodologies
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work toward and achieve scheduled deadlines
  • Ability to conduct research into issues and solutions as required including ROI analysis
  • Ability to present ideas and data to varied audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with a skilled technical environment with rapid changes in direction and environment
  • Strong understanding of operational and business workflows
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of systems development lifecycle including business analysis, requirements development, cost benefit analysis, change management, process reengineering, use cases, user acceptance testing, data migration, user training and ongoing systems support.
