This role is a combination of recurring and project-based work, and is an integral part in supporting the growth of APR Supply Co. The role also requires an individual with strong analytical skills, multi-functional experience, and strong project management skills. This role will initially be an individual contributor, but the role is expected to have people management responsibility in the future. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITES Finance Provide financial leadership to the operational team (sales, supply chain and purchasing) through developing financial models, inclusive of scenarios, to help in the decision-making of critical investments or strategic initiatives Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to reduce costs, improve profitability, and support overall financial objectives. Lead cost reduction activities where necessary Lead the annual budgeting process, primarily focused on sales and gross margin targets, rebates, people and capital expenditures Maintain the 5-year forecast Support the acquisition process by maintaining valuation and pro-forma models Report on monthly and annual strategic and operational financial goals Other projects as they are identified Accounting Provide support during month-end close process and complete monthly reporting and analysis of critical general ledger accounts, including but not limited to: Variance to forecast and prior year Margin analysis Inventory turns Wage analysis Certain account reconciliations Branch productivity Rebate analysis Provide support during the annual audit and year-end reporting requirements Provide banking support (e.g., wires/ACH set-up, account management)   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance CPA or MBA required 5 years of public accounting Strong analytical and critical thinking skills focused on data analysis Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, and Teams People management skills Expected to work independently, working under the general direction of the Corporate Controller Required high level of professionalism coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills.   This position is currently accepting applications.
