REACH QMHP Technician -Adult CTH & ATH (PRN) 

Description

The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking Qualified Mental Health Professions for the role of PRN REACH Technicians for the Adult-Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH). The successful candidates will perform intermediate skilled human support work maintaining the safety of clients, monitoring clients with special needs, coordinating meals, meal preparation and serving clients, facilitating educational groups and clinical , teaching clients coping skills, performing and assisting clients with laundry duties, encouraging clients to adhere to treatment requirements, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the REACH Lead Tech

Essential Functions

Facilitates and leads Group Psychotherapy / Psychoeducational activities.

Prepares and maintains clinical documentation and completes progress notes; completes shift reports; complete documentation in accordance with medication administration requirements.

Coordinates discharges in full consultation with the Clinical team.

Administer medications in accordance with all regulatory bodies.

Demonstrates strong clinical customer service skills through communication, oral and written, with both individuals served and members of their system of care. 

Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the unit.

Prepares and serves meals.

Adheres to all program unit policy and procedures.

Displays strong teamwork skills. Enjoys working as part of a clinical team.

Adhere to individualized behavioral profiles and clinical treatment plans with a high level of consistency.

Support data collection as it pertains to client behavior and symptom monitoring / tracking / reporting.

 
Position Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human services and at least 1 year of experience working with Individuals who have mental health and / or behavioral challenges. Knowledge of the MH/DD/SUD systems preferred. Current CPR and First-Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Ability to complete Safety Care (non-violent crisis prevention and intervention training) upon hire.

QMHP-A or QMHP-T Required

Other Requirements: Flexible work hours, to include evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays, are required. Must maintain a valid VA Driver's License.

Starting Salary Range 22.41 per hr.
