OCU offers degree programs for residential undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult and online students.   Position Assistant/Associate Professor of Education   Location Main Campus   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description Primary focus is classroom instruction in intervention specialist theory, assessment, and intervention strategies for mild/moderate K-12 teacher licensure program. Responsibilities in addition to teaching include student advising, field experience supervision, and curriculum development. Duties and Responsibilities Teach courses in theory, assessment, and intervention strategies Classroom observation and field/clinical supervision Serve as faculty member in the School of Education Curriculum development for mild/moderate intervention specialist program Manage student learning outcome measurements and assessment of student learning Participate in university service and committees Maintain relationships in professional organizations Maintain currency in disciplinary field Mentor and advise students QUALIFICATIONS According to Ohio Christian University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement.
