Description

Facilities Manager maintains and oversees the company’s head offices, store fronts, buildings, and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional. Their duties include negotiating contracts with service providers/vendors inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, store facilities, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
  • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
  • Actively leads EHS initiatives in tandem with aftersales/service team’s onsite support
  • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
  • Partner with HR to develop and implement office policies by organizing and setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office
  • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
  • Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
  • Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Provide administrative support and work in collaboration with the Store Development & Real Estate Team.
  • Track and replace office supplies/equipment as necessary
  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Manage Access Keys to the LA office and their distribution
  • Coordinate with IT department on the storage and distribution of IT/office equipment
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, contract negotiation, and building maintenance in a corporate environment with 2 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Ability to travel to various office/store locations as needed
  • A strong understanding of regulatory and safety subjects, and environmental regulations applicable to facilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Starting at  
Salary Range $80,000 - $120,000
