GENERAL SUMMARY: Senior Software Engineer
-Provide technical engineering services for the development of shipboard network and control systems supporting the AN/USQ-82(V) program.
Requirements for the Senior Software Engineer:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering
-10 years, or 6 years’ experience with a Master's Degree, software engineering and management of software development projects
-Experience with Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); knowledge in software metrics and automated regression testing and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) techniques with emphasis on life cycle maintenance.
-Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
