The Regional Sales Director is responsible for managing and supporting retail sales and marketing activities for VinFast US stores across the Northern California area. The Regional Sales Director has oversight of store level sales personnel and direct accountability for achieving delivery and client satisfaction objectives for the region. This role will act as the main liaison between daily store operations and headquarters.



  • Day-to-day management and supervision of store sales teams to ensure achievement of vehicle delivery, customer experience, and other brand KPIs
  • Oversee and lead sales, promotions, marketing, and delivery activities for the area stores, ensuring alignment to regional and brand KPIs
  • Establish strategies and successfully execute action plans to achieve delivery, client experience and sales targets for regional KPIs
  • Implement key initiatives set by VinFast US Sales, marketing, and other functional areas
  • Mentor, train and develop VinFast US regional store leadership and employees
  • Monitor employee productivity against targets for KPIs tied to overall sales and company performance
  • Develop and report on performance summaries and action plans for presentations to executives as necessary
  • Ensure VinFast US stores comply with industry regulations
  • Explore opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize sales and improve purchase experience for VinFast US clients
Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 8 years of progressive work experience in retail and store management
  • Experience managing multiple retail locations and oversight of a given market area
  • Proven track record of success in achieving operational and sales targets
  • Automotive and electric vehicle (EV) experience a plus
  • Experience in a start-up environment or with new product launches a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with US executive leadership, internal stakeholders, peers, and external partners
  • Strong relationship, team building and leadership skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organization
  • Creative problem solver; not afraid to think outside the box
  • Proficiency in business productivity tools and software (MS Office Suite, Salesforce, CRM)
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to deal well with modifications and changes to operating plans as well as implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes
