JOB SUMMARY:

The VP of Sales develops and implements sales strategies with partner channels in order to maximize revenue and meet sales goals. Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's channel development policies, objectives, and initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Drive Sales in the United States
  • Oversee and manage the Sales Team including retail sales
  • Act as a key member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, responsible for setting the strategic direction, annual plans and execution of the business
  • Designing and executing our Sales strategy, including preparation of sales materials and decision on channel strategy and channel mix
  • Partner internally with sales teams and legal, finance and other stakeholders to drive urgency and secure sales outcomes
  • Achieve targets for KPIs tied to sales, as well as overall company performance
  • Create and keep high-level professional relationships with clients
  • Direct competitor analysis and finding key areas where the company can exceed competitors
  • Explore opportunities for continuous improvement of the sales and purchase experience for VinFast US consumers
  • Work with global sales teams to share strategy and improve sales strategies globally
  • Provide operational and program oversight to include policies and procedures

 

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive work experience in Sales and Sales Management
  • 10+ years of progressive work experience in automotive OEM operations companies
  • 6+ years in an executive level
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales and operational targets
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Automotive electric vehicle (EV) experience a plus
  • Experience in a start-up environment or with new product launches a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with US executive leadership, internal stakeholders, peers, and external partners
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
  • Creative problem solver; not afraid to think outside the box
  • May require up to 35% travel
