Share Email Opening Title Driver - Non CDL  Description Northeast Beverage Non CDL Driver - JOB DESCRIPTION   JOB TITLE: Driver – Non CDL STATUS: Non-exempt DEPARTMENT: Delivery REPORT TO: Warehouse Manager   JOB SUMMARY:   Deliver and merchandise products to customers on the assigned route in a timely and professional manner.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   Deliver product to retail accounts   Merchandise product on shelves and in coolers   Pick up all empty containers, including kegs and bad product, and credit customers for the same.   Collect and organize all delivered invoices to be turned in to the office   Maintain fluid levels in Company vehicles and proper care of the vehicles (daily cleaning)   Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle   Communicate problems, issues, and opportunities to the internal customer service team   Consistently maintain personal behavior that meets the core values and standards of the company to include: integrity, professionalism, hard work, commitment, and teamwork.     ONGOING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   TO IMPROVE THE WORK ENVIRONMENT by exhibiting respect, compassion, enthusiasm and a sense-of-humor on a daily basis.   SERVICE OUR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS by to adding value for our fellow employees, our customers and our vendors and striving to provide effective solutions to solve their problems.   CONTINUALLY USE OUR MINDS AND OUR CREATIVE POWERS to improve overall company performance by suggesting more effective methods of operating. ACCOUNTABILITIES:   Must attend all regularly scheduled meetings   Responsible for all company property in your possession, including cash, company vehicles, computer, Nextel, and hand truck.   Responsible for making deliveries to accounts within a specified period of time.     SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:   N/A     MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:   Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. AND/OR Operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement.   Position Requirements PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:   Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions.   Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.   Environmental Conditions   May be subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including vibration and noise.   MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:   Nextel   Hand truck   LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:   Valid drivers license   Valid Medical Card     Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Division Northeast Beverage Corp.
