The Eagle Shoppe Manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations, including the planning, organizing, and managing of the Eagle Shoppe. This person shall be spiritually mature and shall reflect the purpose of the school, which is always to honor Christ. SCA hires with a focus first on Christ, together with character, competence, and chemistry with our community. This job description is not all-encompassing, and SCA is seeking an individual who can conduct these responsibilities with a spirit of love, compassion, customer service, and partnership with leadership. The person should be someone having leadership qualities that include relationship building and hold all these responsibilities with a Biblical worldview. This position is a non-exempt hourly position, typically scheduled to work 32 hours per week.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Graphic Design, or similar business degree is preferred from an accredited college, but not required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Candidate should be creative with an eye for design.
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities for maintaining inventory, managing budget, maintaining statistical records and financial records, balancing daily bank deposits and credit card receipts, overseeing pricing and stock control, as well as weekly shopping and purchasing.
  • Sales experience in negotiating with vendors is preferred.Demonstrated detail orientated capabilities which include organizing orders and inventory, managing cash flow, tracking, and increasing sales as well as RaiseRight inventory.
  • Experience in managing clothing inventory to ensure there is adequate apparel in each size.
  • Demonstrated customer service competency includes ability to adapt with change effectively, deal with customer queries and complaints, maintain positive customer service.
  • Ability to assist with special community events like Homecoming and home football games outside of regular work schedule.
  • Efficient time-management is a requirement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Periodic standing and walking throughout campus for community events.
