Position Inventory Management Specialist  
Description

Location: Seattle, WA & Des Moines, WA.

Position: Full Time

Compensation: $23-$25 hourly

 

About this role:

The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for control and maintenance of inventory at both retail store locations (Seattle & Des Moines). This will require a split schedule between both locations each week. Inventory includes first quality, second quality and sample quality goods, as well as third party products in our flagship store.

 

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain an organizational system for inventory control for both retail store locations.
  • Daily restock of retail sales floor
  • Shrink/theft management through daily/weekly cycle counts.
  • Receive shipments both physically and through POS system.
  • Maintain product liquidation and procurement via sale rate monitoring – with a focus on both hot sellers and markdown plans for surplus/slow moving styles.
  • Partner with the dealer services team to maintain a routine inventory flow.
  • Responsible for planning seasonal inventory assortment
  • Act as the main partner with marketing on in-house merchandising.
  • Provide support and relief to the OR retail store sales team as needed.
  • Opening and/or closing the store independent of supervision
  • Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
  • This position is expected to be on site at both the Des Moines and Seattle location.

 

 
Position Requirements

What you should bring to the table

  • Previous experience managing inventory in a retail or similar environment
  • Previous cash handling/transaction experience
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills with spreadsheets, MS Office Suite, and Point of sale systems
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
