JOB SUMMARY:

The AR Accountant will assist in ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services offered to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Handles incoming payments and disputes for chargeback activities from all revenue sources.
  • Checks to ensure payments are applied correctly in SAP and research discrepancies and past-due amounts.
  • Processes refund overpayment to customers.
  • Checks to ensure all sales transaction are in-line with sales policy and performed correctly in systems
  • Obtains all required documents and reports for month-end closing and record-keeping purposes.
  • Reconciles GL accounts, payment gateway, bank accounts, and transactions between SAP and other systems (from vehicles sales, parts sales, charging transaction, service order…)
  • Calculates and books month-end adjusting entries for revenue related transactions under supervision of Revenue Accounting Manager.
  • Assists with month-end closing, financial audits, and other projects.
  • Copies, files, and retrieves supporting documents as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • At least two years of related experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
  • Experience in GL and bank account reconciliations.
  • Familiar with SAP system (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
