Position University District Clinician  
Description

Unique opportunity for an activated social worker to conduct outreach to the University District’s unhoused, homeless, and housing insecure individuals and assist with their obtaining shelter and/or permanent supportive housing. The social worker will connect families/individuals seeking counseling, treatment, screening, assessment, consultative services, education, engagement, linkages, and advocacy for quality-of-life improvements. The social worker will be a referral resource to the residents, businesses, non-profits, safety teams, and law enforcement living or operating in the University District. The position will oversee the work of students assisting the social worker and other partnering agencies/non-profits to expand outreach capabilities in the University District community.

 
Position Requirements

BSW with relevant experience will be considered.  Knowledge of available community resources and experience working with homeless individuals and/or populations with SPMI and co-occurring disorders required.

Master’s level licensed independent social worker preferred.
