The company has continually grown to a point where we currently serve more than 600 individuals, and employ more than 1000 people across the state. Skill Creations is a human services agency that operates three service divisions. The ICF Division provides specialized long-term residential care to 191 individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in 15 different towns in North Carolina. The Community Operations Division provides residential and non-residential services to persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their home community. The Child Development Division, with two locations in Goldsboro, provides high quality child care and preschool for children ages birth - 5 years. One center also offers after school care through age 12.   Description Location: Bethel Respite Center, Morganton NC Starting Salary: Competitive Hours: M-F 8am - 5 pm The Respite Coordinator position will be a dual role as they will have administration duties as well as Direct Support Professional duties. The Respite Coordinator will process respite applications, schedule clients for respite and schedule staff to work at facility. The DSP portion of the job will periodically work with clients as needed and assist at the SCI ICF facility. Someone with IDD experience is preferred.   Position Requirements 19 years of age or older High School diploma or GED Some clerical experience is preferred Valid driver's license with ability to drive company vehicles (3 yrs. Driving experience, driving record that meets our insurability standards) Ability to lift 50 lbs. Working personal phone Dependable transportation Ability to operate office machines: fax, computer, copier Proficiency in computer use for typing, e-mail, completion of training modules, Position occasionally requires balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling Ability to work on holidays and during inclement weather   **Full COVID-19 vaccination OR an approved medical or religious exemption is now required.
