Description

The Director of Human Resources will plan, organize, and direct activities and operations of the human resources office. This individual should be capable of making difficult decisions, have leadership qualities, that include team building, relationship building, and hold all these responsibilities with a Biblical worldview. Matthew 10:28 Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matthew 23:11 The greatest among you shall be your servant.

Requirements

Experience and knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding personnel issues, and the organizational skills and ability to work with people, projects and resources, 8+ years of progressively responsible experience preferred, and experience in a school setting is also preferred. A demonstrated high level of computer literacy, having skilled proficiency in word processing, creating, and using spreadsheets, e-mailing, managing databases and familiarity with the internet and research. Responsible for achieving strategic goals related to Human Resources while also playing a key support role for other priorities. This individual must manage the employment and benefits processes and possess a strong HR generalist background. They must have the ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures for the school. Preferred: Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business from an accredited school. This candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian enthusiastically supporting SCA's statement of faith, and mission statement.

Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, the position requires the ability to organize and prioritize work, resolve problems, follow through, and manage multiple priorities to ensure that goals are met. Strong technology skills are required.
