Description

The HR Generalist provides a full range of support to the organization and serves as a key member to the HR team, providing expertise in all areas of HR such as but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, training, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, payroll, benefits, leave, and other major people initiatives that promote a positive employee experience in the workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Coordinate and assists with HR activities such as onboarding orientation, training, and offboarding
  • Support and develop strong cross-functional partnership and collaboration across the company
  • Assist HR Business Partners with key company initiatives including employee engagement, talent management, compensation, performance management, succession planning and workforce planning
  • Answer general employee questions about policies and procedures and refer to the appropriate HR staff member as required
  • Ensure legal compliance in company statements, policies, procedures and handbook and ensure employees understand policies and procedures
  • Assist with administration of the day-to-day HR department services.
  • Assist in projects, such as HR administration, benefits open enrollment, employee communications, learning & development, and event planning and on an ad hoc basis.
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant HR work experience
  • PHR or SHRM certification a plus
  • An advanced degree in HR or related field is a plus
  • Strong knowledge in employment labor laws and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Agile in business practice, flexible and adept in change management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills and critical thinking
