Description

The Event Manager (Community) will manage and organize consumer facing activations to create meaningful customer interactions. This role will play a key part in supporting our Community team, executing strategic initiatives, and building out environments for consumers to learn about the VinFast brand, product, and mission.

This role will work cross-functionally across the VinFast US, Regional, and Global Marketing, Sales, PR, and Executive teams to carry out key events such as offline community events, ride and drives, brand experiences, and more. This position will also act as primary point of contact between the VinFast US leadership team, 3rd party vendors, agency partners, and Global/ Regional teams to organize timelines, execute deliverables, and manage the overall event budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Ensure events align with VinFast brand strategies and supports business / marketing / community objectives
  • Manage and organize consumer facing activations to create meaningful customer interactions to help grow an offline and online community
  • Supports and builds presentations in support of events to ensure clear communication of timelines, deliverables, and milestones
  • Execute community led events to increase brand awareness, purchase consideration, and eventual conversion to reservations/ pre-orders/ orders
  • Work with key stakeholders across internal departments in organization and execution of experiential activations
  • Lead and facilitate planning/ status meetings to organize departments in aligning with event objectives
  • Other duties as required by the business, team, or internal stakeholder
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8-10 years event management experience preferred
  • 3-5 years in automotive experience preferred
  • Ability to be open to change, understanding flexibility and adaptability
  • Flexible to work occasional late nights and weekends to collaborate with global stakeholders
  • Prior experience in working with Global conglomerates preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
  • 25% travel required
