Reporting to the Subsurface Land Manager, the Senior Landman will be responsible for all aspects of land work within their designated area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. General Responsibilities Works with a multi-disciplinary team to accomplish goals and objectives within budgetary guidelines Ensure company drill schedule expectations are met within the asset area with all company disciplines Perform high level land functions without direct supervision Clear title for drilling locations staying ahead of a fast paced, multi-rig horizontal schedule Partner with brokers and attorneys in title and curative matters as appropriate Expert interpreting, negotiating and preparing Land related contracts, such as: Oil and Gas Leases, Operating Agreements, Farmouts, Term Assignments and other similar documentation Interact and provide the asset and operations teams with a high-level of Land support and information critical to ongoing development of properties Work with the asset team in supporting operations and identifying new areas of improvement Able to mentor less experienced Landmen, support staff and summer interns Provide guidance to land support staff   Position Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Demonstrated work experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Minimum of 3 years of in-house experience as a Landman or similar role Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team oriented environment Direct land experience in and knowledge of the Permian Basin Preferred Qualifications Certified Professional Landman accreditation from the AAPL Bachelor's degree in Energy Management or Petroleum Land Management Minimum of 5 years of industry experience Experience in intercompany trades and acquisitions   Location Midland   EOE Statement Permian Resources provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants in all Company facilities without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, childbirth, physical disability, mental and/or intellectual disability, age, military status or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran, marital status, registered domestic partner or civil union status, gender (including sex stereotyping and gender identity or expression), medical condition, genetic information, or sexual orientation in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including, but not limited to, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.   supervisorUID None Specified  Email None Specified  This position is currently accepting applications.
