Description

The EV Charging Product Analyst will help guide the delivery of high-impact initiatives surrounding VinFast’s eMSP (Mobile Service Provider) platform. Reporting to the Director Charging Operations role will collaboratively work with finance, legal, IT and technical teams to oversee the best in class charging experience for VinFast drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Ensures that all customer payments are processed in a timely manner and oversees the customer experience while using a VinFast affiliated charging partner station.
  • Oversees the reconciliation process of funds from customer payments with invoices provided via the Charge Detail Record (CDR) from Charge Point Operator (CPO) networks stations.
  • Manages Product Lifecycle Management of the VinFast eMSP platform by overseeing integration timelines and usage of tariffs.
  • Ensures compliance of taxation standards for both Canada and the United States while facilitating the usage of third-party taxation specialists and industry expertise.
  • Works closely to guide marketing, product engineering, and public charging initiatives to drive value proposition, pricing, and channel validation.
  • Defines and analyzes metrics that inform the success of eMSP platform.
  • Manages prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, business opportunities, and technical constraints.
  • Leverages data to inform product direction while staying on top of customer needs. Prioritizes requirements based on well-researched understanding of market needs and trends, informed by data and research inputs from our user experience team.
  • Identifies core problems affecting the customer journey and implements solutions.
  • Collaborates with Mobile App development, Training and Customer Experience teams to ensure tariffs are properly communicated and customer journey document are maintained.
  • Supports research and analysis of EV Charging Operations by gathering feedback, analyzing data, and understanding dependent systems.
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Payments
  • 2+ years in SaaS and/or API product management, working with several cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with OCPP, OCPI, ISO 15118-2 & 20, Plug & Charge, AutoCharge technology
  • Experience with Product Management tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with an eye towards developing scalable and supportable products.
  • You are a 0 to 1 product person comfortable in shaping direction out of ambiguity and leading the execution of multi-segment customer validation initiatives.
  • Strong executor that can push through obstacles and challenges to get to the finish line while maintaining impeccable quality and integrity.
  • Strategic thinker and have led product development through the entire lifecycle.
  • Well versed in user research methods, synthesis, and presenting actionable insights.
  • Worked at a product company or product consultancy where you were involved in the Product-Market Fit Validation Process (desirability, viability, feasibility).
  • Are methodical in your experiments and advocate for the best evidence-based approach.
  • Deeply understand product management and define actionable items towards achieving short- and long-term plans.
  • Passionate and stay on top of the latest industry & technology trends.
  • Passionate about sustainability and cleantech.
  • Proficiency in business productivity tools and software (MS Office Suite, Smartsheets, JIRA)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Background in a technical field, operations, consulting and/or hyper-growth companies a plus
