Description

The Accessory Program Administrator will oversee all aspects of VinFast accessory development, and parts price competitiveness including all aspects of VinFast US accessory product planning, collaboration on accessory launch, marketing, and oversight of the accessory development process within VinFast companies. This includes close attention to accessory development operations, inventory, planning, and timely delivery that is required for new model parts, service parts, campaign parts, dealer installed accessories, and port installed accessories.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Oversight of accessory pricing, operations, service agreement contracts with VinFast partners and financial performance to ensure company objectives for accessory revenue and profitability are met.
  • Accessory sourcing, working with VF US Procurement Dept., to ensure successful customer offer in time for accessory market launch
  • Management of the accessory product planning and development oversight for all new accessories to assure synergy as well as on-time launch availability, design, quality, functionality, installation, and training standards are achieved.
  • Operational interface responsibility with VinFast HQ & VinFast US for all accessory launch functions.
  • Expedites orders when necessary
  • Coordinates with other departments on new programs and changes to inventory disposition
  • Identify data sources required to visualize service parts distribution supply chain performance (Lead-time, inventory, service, cost)
  • Lead cross functional teams and forums to drive continuous improvements in total supply chain performance balancing cost, service, and inventory
  • Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
  • Supervise the correct inventory into the parts network
  • Identifies and interprets accessory trends and patterns
  • Creates ad-hoc reports for service parts & sales team to support strategic and tactical planning
 
Position Requirements

PREFERRED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related

• 4+ years of experience in accessory development, analyzing market trends, and visualizing large data sets in automotive preferred

• Concrete experience with automation of non-value-added tasks and data gathering

• Experience with SAP and Salesforce

• Experience working with overseas teams

• Clear understanding of the holistic supply chain and trade-offs between inventory, cost, and service level.

• Analytical ability to draw insights from unstructured data and provide fact-based recommendations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

• Strong collaborator, with willingness to drive change

• Experience using agile methodologies

• Process and detail orientated

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities with a focus on root cause investigations
