SCA is seeking to hire both head and assistant coaches at the high school and junior high levels to lead student athletes in team competition by coaching players in their development of individual and team skills, as well as development into Christian leaders themselves. It is the desire of SCA Athletics to develop a culture where student-athletes and coaches pursue maximum potential while competing and leading in a Christ honoring way. We want to use our gifts and talents in sport to glorify God. This means giving everything we have every day and every play. We respect the game, our opponents, and the officials while maximizing our own talents and potential through constant effort. The scoreboard does not legitimize or delegitimize this effort. This position is contracted by and responsible to the Athletic Director. The head coach will supervise Assistant Coaches, Managers and Student-Athletes.
The Head Coach shall meet the stress of athletic competition with emotional stability and positive words/actions. They must maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste and agreement with school policy. The Coach must use acceptable English in written and oral communication. Speak with clear articulation. Refuse to use or circulate confidential infromation inappropriately. Provide devotion and prayer during each practice, with intentionality to lead athletes to grow in mind, spirit, and body. Our mission is to develop Christian growth and leadership.

The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian enthusiastically supporting SCA's statement of faith, and mission statement.
