Description

The Digital Technician will perform remote diagnosis for service centers and our mobile service teams throughout the US market.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Handles diagnosis requests in a structured and timely manner.
  • Identifies and researches avoidable service visits and coordinates them in part to our mobile service technician teams
  • Troubleshoot and repair OTA as defined by the service engineering team
  • Perform tasks requiring a high level of skill and patience
  • Develop and follow best practices and procedures for various maintenance activities
  • Maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the VinFast Digital Service Team and field Service team; prepare daily updates of work completed, problems identified, and future timelines
  • Have flexibility to provide support outside your region and possibly outside the country as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned per our growth and diversity across applications
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical automotive background as a high level Service Technician required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ideally have experience of working with Electric Vehicles
  • Proven ability to lead by example and be innovative with processes and efficiencies
  • Analytical ability to understand and impact key performance indicators
  • Problem solving initiative to fix problems when they arise, but also understand why and how they happened
  • Ability to motivate a team, to engage and facilitate others to achieve and succeed
  • Digitally savvy – ability to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Valid Driving License
  • Performs well in an agile, fast-paced environment where things can change very quickly
  • Perform and lead well under pressure
