Description

The Sr Manager, Titling & DMV Operations will support sales operations in developing processes for title and registration processing and handling, work within the digital retailing platform to support retail sales transactions and build and manage relationships with third party titling and registration fulfillment partners. This role will build an internal DMV team to support market expansions and will coordinate with Govt. Affairs teams on incentive support and processing, as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Coordinate with sales and other key stakeholders to ensure all required documents relating to the vehicle purchase or lease are complete and accurate prior to customer delivery.
  • Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience (incl. knowledge on current rules & regulations) for registration, taxation, subsidy claims, and insurance of VinFast vehicles across the US.
  • Work collaboratively with key stake holders in the markets and serve as an authority to find and communicate solutions internally in a timely manner.
  • Interact with customers, DMV, financial services partners, and titling and registration partners to prioritize and resolve titling and registration issues.
  • Manage through the title rejection process.
  • Administer the daily operations and process titling and registration related to retail and fleet sales in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Work closely with IT to define business requirements for VinFast systems, focusing on process automation and development of analytical tools to monitor and track vehicles across all sales channels.
  • Provide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as data entry, word processing, filing, copying, and other duties associated with this position.
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 to 7 years’ experience of successful vehicle administration management at an OEM, fleet management/service company, car dealership, car insurance company, or regulatory authority
  • Thorough understanding of retail automotive sales.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of vehicle title and registration processes across all 50 states
  • Passion for the customer experience, and an understanding of how operational efficiencies impact said experience
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally to deliver major initiatives, all while relentlessly prioritizing based on need
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a proactive mindset.
  • IT systems experience and knowledge on SAP a plus
