Position Electronic Banking Specialist

Description

SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for providing excellent sales and customer service through alternate delivery channels to SBD customers. This includes, but is not limited to, managing the Internet Banking platform, voice response unit and answering external e-mails received through the website.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Create new online agreements on OSI and set up new customers from website and paper applications, making sure all necessary documentation has been obtained.
    • Electronic Banking Agreement

    • ACH Agreement

    • Wire Transfer Agreement

    • Voice Response Agreement

  • Research and respond to customer inquiries, questions, and problems relating to SBD BusinessNet and SBD Online products and services.
    • New Account Agreements
    • Reset User Ids & Passwords
    • Bill Payment Disputes
      • Stop Payments, Reissues
    • Addition / Deletion of Accounts
  • Perform daily ACH and Wire Transfer requests generated through PC Banking

  • Process monthly ECB Billing procedures for BusinessNet customers

  • Research Princeton e-Com bill payment errors and rejects, notify the customer and re-credit his account within 24 hours.

  • Distribute emails received through web site and ECB2 Admin to appropriate depts. and branches throughout the bank.

  • Is aware of and complies with CRA guidelines and policies and the bank's non-discrimination policy.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Provide back up to ATM/Debit Card system, including entering new PIN offset information into Metavante

  • Review daily OSI/Metavante reports to verify closed, new and maintained card information

  • Perform all other duties assigned

 
Position Requirements

Educational and experience requirements include:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years relevant experience in a bank deposit operations area required
  • Broad knowledge of banking and procedures
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal team

While performing the duties of this job the employee:

Is regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, such as, a copy machine, calculator, phone, and computer printer.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.

Is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as, analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.

Is required to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to convey detailed spoken instructions to other employees accurately.

Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Position is considered sedentary and may require employee to lift up to 10 pounds.
