With the belief that all people have the capacity to grow and change, we provide our services to people of all ages, cultures, races, religious preferences, genders, and sexual orientations in order to enhance wellness and recovery, thereby improving families, workplaces, and communities.   Position Vocational Specialist   Description Job Summary: We are seeking a Vocational Specialist to join our team and help individuals with mental health issues, substance use disorders and/or other barriers to employment successfully reenter the workforce. The Vocational Specialist will assess client needs, provide career counseling, job readiness training, and help match clients with suitable employment opportunities. The position requires a strong understanding of supportive employment, labor market trends, and effective strategies for job placement and retention. Key Responsibilities: Conduct vocational assessments to evaluate clients' skills, interests, and barriers to employment. Collaborate with clients to develop individual vocational goal plans that align with their career goals and needs. Assist clients in finding suitable job opportunities by leveraging partnerships with employers. Provide one-on-one counseling and guidance to clients on resume writing, interviewing skills, job search strategies, and workplace adjustments. Develop and maintain relationships with employers to create job opportunities for clients. Offer ongoing support to clients and employers to ensure successful job placement and retention. Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and reports in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Work with other service providers, social workers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to support client success.   Position Requirements Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required.  Experience in sales a plus.   Valid Ohio driver’s license.  Will transport clients in own vehicle.  Must have proof of current auto insurance coverage and meet driving record requirements.
