With the belief that all people have the capacity to grow and change, we provide our services to people of all ages, cultures, races, religious preferences, genders, and sexual orientations in order to enhance wellness and recovery, thereby improving families, workplaces, and communities.   Position Vocational Specialist   Description We are seeking a Vocational Specialist to join our team and help individuals with disabilities, mental health, substance use disorders and/or other barriers to employment successfully reenter the workforce. The Vocational Specialist will assess patient needs, provide career counseling, job readiness training, and help match patients with competitive employment opportunities. Responsibilities: Conduct vocational assessments to evaluate patients' skills, interests, and barriers to employment. Collaborate with patients to develop individual vocational rehabilitation plans that align with their career goals and needs. Assist patients in finding suitable job opportunities. Provide one-on-one counseling and guidance to patients on resume writing, interviewing skills, job search strategies, and workplace adjustments. Develop and maintain relationships with employers to create job opportunities for patients. Offer ongoing support to patients and employers to ensure successful job placement and retention. Maintain accurate patient records, case notes, and reports in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Work with other service providers, social workers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to support patient success.   Position Requirements AA /Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required. Experience in sales a plus.   Valid Ohio driver’s license.  Will transport patients in own vehicle.  Must have proof of current auto insurance coverage and meet driving record requirements.   As a healthcare provider, Southeast Healthcare is a non-smoking employer.  Staff members are required to be vaccinated for the flu. Religious and medical exemptions may be requested during the hiring process.
