The Manager of Home Charging is responsible for the performance of the home charging programs.  This position oversees interconnection with multiple utility companies, EVSE suppliers, electrical installers, and software vendors. The manager ensures maximum uptime of the installed retail residential charging, as well as continual improvement of related charging customer programs. 



  • Lead a team of network specialists as you build and develop Vinfast Home Charging offerings
  • Perform Home Charger manufacturing site visits to conduct due diligence related to quality, constructability, design, utility servicing, and cost
  • Oversees customer experience, strategy, execution, profitability, product lifecycle management and installation of all products and service to support EV charging at the customer’s home  
  • Serve as the liaison with utility company personnel to determine the best determined routing of primary electrical service for Home Charging Installations.
  • Define the requirements and specifications of the power components and energy management system
  • Responsible for design coordination with leadership that design documents meet project scope requirements
  • Attend internal and external meetings and serve as a technical resource to other Engineers, Designers, Estimators, Contractors/Installers, and Project Managers
  • Develop and maintain administrative processes that reduce redundancy and improve accuracy, while achieving organizational objectives
  • Assist in RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses as necessary
  • Create B2B network of business partners to further develop retail channels for the Home Charger
  • Weekly reporting, analytics on network expansion, uptime, utilization, etc.
Position Requirements


  • Bachelors’ Degree preferred
  • Established record of accomplishment managing and delivering projects on time and on budget while adhering to the highest quality and standards
  • Ability to work autonomously, in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years in the EV Home Charging Installation, Sales, or Service Contracting industries
  • Automotive charging experience L1 and L2
  • Deep understanding of smart energy management systems V2X, V2G, V2H and ISO 15118
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Entrepreneurial approach to accomplishing tasks with minimal resources
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time to manufacturing facilities and conferences as needed
