Description

The Finance Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for profit reporting, along with budget development, control, and forecasting. This position will be the lead with investor relations and be responsible for reporting and consolidating all US legal entities.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Profit Reporting
    • Develop and consolidate input for monthly financial reporting package
    • Budget vs. actuals variance analysis (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, CapEx)
    • Full year forecast variance analysis (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, CapEx)
    • Profit per unit
    • Risks & opportunities
  • Establish monthly calendar for financial reporting and reviews
  • Lead in sending/receiving official financial-related forecasts to/from global finance
  • Develop ad hoc templates to consolidate data to respond to leadership
  • Lead with investor relations
  • Responsible for reporting/consolidating all US legal entities
  • Budget Development, Control, and Forecasting
    • Finance monthly budget control & forecasting for staff operating teams (Purchasing, Facilities, IT, HR, Legal, Finance)
    • Budget vs. actuals variance analysis
    • Full year forecast variance analysis
    • Risks & opportunities
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years experience in finance cost analysis/accounting/revenue analysis/budgeting/forecasting
  • Automotive OEM experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial and business ownership experience a plus
  • Investment banking experience a plus
  • Above average analytical & problem solving skills
  • Above average excel skills and ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Above average PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Financial modeling a plus
  • Hands-on use of ERP systems a plus
