DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Information Technology
SUMMARY: The Systems Administrator roleis responsible for the performance, maintenance, and enhancement of the Bank's IT infrastructure. As well as providing Tier 2 support, meeting service level agreements, troubleshooting, and enhancing IT procedures and services.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Quickly and accurately identify network and/or environment issues including root causes.
Recommend appropriate solutions to address the Bank’s technical challenges.
Identify needs and implement solutions while prioritizing system uptime.
Facilitate business line operations through technical assistance by phone, email, or in-person as needed.
Build and expand internal knowledge base to support technology infrastructure, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Manage server security such as; configuration, patching, and, vulnerability remediation as needed.
Proactively monitor system health and performance.
Propose technology innovations that support the Bank’s mission and vision.
Provide technical advisory for business lines during project initiatives.
Design and implement various workflows.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
Maintain workload organization and follow through issues to completion.
Record and maintain required information to support accurate reporting for Senior Management.
Maintain continuous knowledge of industry best practices for managing the Bank’s technology infrastructure.
Adhere to established IT policies and procedures
Comply with all applicable banking regulations.
Follow security protocols within the Bank to ensure the safeguarding of non-public personal information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or an equivalent level of training or experience.
2+ years relevant experience in a technical administration role.

Is regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, such as, a copy machine, calculator, phone, and computer printer.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 60% of the time.
Is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as, viewing a computer terminal and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned to self and staff.
Is required to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to convey detailed spoken instructions to other employees accurately.
Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
