JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for achieving staffing objectives by seeking out qualified candidates and identifying the future hiring needs of VinFast US Northern California corporate and store roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment that includes creating job descriptions, advertising, and posting roles, scheduling and interviewing candidates and preparing offer negotiations for offer letters
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand department headcount needs, how each role will help with the success of the department goals in order to deliver strong value propositions to attract candidates to join VinFast US
  • Collaborate with HR as a subject matter experience with compliance, hiring practices, and working with agencies, when needed
  • Develop and implement appropriate sourcing strategies, using Boolean searches and a variety of methods such as LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter and other tools
  • Manage the applicant tracking system by reviewing all incoming applications and resumes, tracking the interview process, dispositioning applicants, keeping candidate experience top of mind
  • Track and provide recruiting activity updates to hiring team and HR
  • Participates in job fairs and establishes partnerships to build network with colleges and universities to promote the VinFast US openings to attract and build a talent pool of recent college graduates
  • Assist with resolving complex challenges in recruitment by recommending creative techniques
  • May provide mentorship to team members to help guide them in the recruiting process
  • May contribute to projects as part of the long-term recruitment strategy
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of recruiting and staffing experience with corporate roles
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ie; ADP, Paychex)
  • Experience working with a mix of corporate and retails roles, providing reporting of recruiting activity, and working with agencies
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and hiring practices
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Agile in business practice, flexible and adept in change management
