POSITION: Engineering Technician - Full Time Position
LOCATION: Work is located at Navy Business Park Philadelphia Must live within reasonable driving distance to Philadelphia Navy Yard.

Description:
Support Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division with shipboard troubleshooting and installation services.
Engineering Technician Specific duties include:
- Replace or repair shipboard hardware and electronic equipment including wiring harnesses, cable routing, terminal box wiring, connector pinouts.
- Troubleshoot various Hull, Mechanical & Engine equipment and determine impact from development and maintenance.
- Provide shipboard installation, troubleshooting and test assessments.
Engineering Technician Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Trade School Diploma (related military experience can qualify as education)

Engineering Technician Target Experience:
- 7 years of professional experience as an Engineering Technician
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting, and tracing signals using electrical schematics and a digital multimeter to diagnose or isolate cause for electrical failures
- 2 years of experience as a lead engineering technician
- 2 years of experience with job related computer systems
- 3 years experience with PLC’s and National Instrument tools
Requirements: US Citizen and a Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one
