Description

The Parts Pricing Manager will be responsible for implementing pricing strategies for VinFast US products based on company pricing and profit margin objectives, pricing analysis with internal pricing studies for consistent market prices and profit margins by product groups, and coordination of price maintenance. Role will prepare benchmark pricing studies for competitive OEM brands and aftermarket companies by product groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Develop & implement parts and accessories pricing strategy to meet company & department KPI’s on gross profit margin
  • Monitor KPIs and provide direction to meet department & company objectives
  • Perform internal price studies for parts and accessories to maintain consistent dealer prices and profit margins to support the Parts Department sales and profit plans
  • Complete benchmark price studies for competitive OEM and aftermarket products to evaluate the company’s competitive position within each industry
  • Investigate and research inquiries from stores and internal staff regarding pricing issues
  • Drive improvement by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends and recommending pricing/performance actions
  • Support any ad-hoc requests for analysis, information, special projects, or additional tasks
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of short and long term system enhancements.
  • Communicate pricing issues and resolutions with management to provide better customer service through process improvement
  • Review and recommend changes to the Part Price Master to ensure that correct price for supersession parts, and part control codes are up to date and accurate
  • Prepare, review, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reports, presentations, and other executive summaries, as well as monthly sales and profit margin reports for various departments and executive management
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Perform analysis and investigate relationships between key variables including sales demand, price, GP% and sales growth
    • Conduct market price studies on parts categories and provides recommendations
    • Analyze insurance cost of repair data to ensure Vinfast pricing strategy is within market pricing
    • Prepares various reports which assist in KPI reporting
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent preferred
  • Formal training in financial modeling and statistical analysis in Excel, Access, and similar applications
  • 5+ plus years of work experience in analytical roles
  • Ability to apply a detailed understanding of financial concepts and principles to business operations
  • Ability to conceptualize & apply analytical techniques to build models for analyzing quantitative data
  • In depth understanding of financial analysis and strategy; ability to evaluate/validate analytical outputs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of management as a self-starter and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize own work and projects with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools –Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
