This person will support the United States Navy’s Naval Supply Systems Command Business Systems Center.  This person will be a key performance contributor to the development of the Navy Data Platform, an integrated end-to-end business intelligence application that retrieves data from many legacy data systems, then transforms the data for consumption in a myriad of business intelligence tools.  This position will focus on report development in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), Web Intelligence (Webi). Typical Tasks for this Position: Develop and maintain BOBJ dashboards, conduct data modeling, develop reports and report visualizations Take initiative in an environment involving diverse sets of data, documents, and materials Work closely with clients to translate user requirements into a system requirement specification by learning and understanding their business processes, business requirements, interpreting requirements and assisting in the solution design Support project teams and interface with clients  Assist in the delivery of business intelligence solutions with best of breed products Take initiative in an environment involving diverse sets of data, documents, and materials Work closely with clients to translate user requirements into a system requirement specification by learning and understanding their business processes, business requirements, interpreting requirements and assisting in the solution design Support project teams and interface with clients    EOE Statement Herdt Consulting, Inc.
