Description

Assertive Professionals is hiring an Expert GIS Administrator for our National Security Customer based out of Ft. Liberty, NC.

This is a Funded and Immediate opening with over 6 years left on the contract!

This position qualifies for a $1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus, and either a $1,000 sign-on bonus or $2,000 in Reimburseable Relocation Expenses!

Annual compensation ranges between $104,000 to $110,000 without a deployment. Additional paid time, H&H, and per diem for deployments.

Responsibilities Include:

Will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise wide GIS and associated geospatial databases, network equipment and software tools and applications inn support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) or other Special Mission Units (SMU).

Performing complex analysis, design and modification of GIS applications and databases and evaluation of new GIS hardware and software

Performingadvanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications

 

Required Experience and Qualifications (waivers may be provided, but will have a decrease in compensation):

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • 8 years of progressive GIS server experience.
  • Demonstrated experience performing advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in administering and deploying open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to write scripts for automation and analysis using Python with knowledge of C+ and Java.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high level/expert intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation.
  • Possess expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis, and exploitation of geospatially-oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)-compliant applications and databases.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess high level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain currency on an 8570.01 certification.
