As a Senior Professional Transportation Engineer in Alliant’s Local Roads group you will work closely with fellow group leaders to develop and mentor our existing team members, identify and recruit additional staff to grow the team, and foster a collaborative group culture. You will leverage your project management expertise to lead all aspects of complex, high-profile transportation projects for City and County clients, including preliminary and final designs; agency coordination; and project scopes, schedules, and budgets.  You will leverage your industry relationships and contacts to expand Alliant’s client base through direct marketing, leading proposal efforts, and attending industry functions. Responsibilities include: Engineering Leadership – providing expertise in all aspects of project development to guide staff in developing innovative solutions and high-quality deliverables. Project Management – preparing proposals to secure work; planning project scope, schedule, and budget; leading the team; monitoring progress; and engaging the client and the public to provide an excellent project experience for stakeholders. Team Development – creating an atmosphere that maximizes peoples’ creative and productive potential by developing their autonomy, mastery, purpose, and belonging through employee engagement and openness.
