Instructional Designer is responsible for producing engaging educational programs targeted for instructor led classroom, blended learning delivery, webinar, and e-learning to Vinfast team members (and other allied partners) and for conversion of virtual learning experience. This individual will work with key stakeholders and perform needs analysis, determine learning objectives, leverage subject matter experts for content, design and develop materials, ensure engaging and interactive exercises and construct learning evaluations/success measurements all consistent with adult learning theory.



  • Analyze, design and develop innovative and engaging training curriculum and materials (e.g. needs analysis, learning objectives, storyboard, presentation, exercises, participant guide, facilitator guide, course evaluation, job aids)
  • Refine, update, and copyright (as appropriate) all courseware materials based on participant evaluations, industry or educational developments (market study data, customization requirements, and best practices) and SME feedback
  • Apply expertise in adult learning theory, gamification, blended learning techniques and learning/performance evaluation of educational programs
  • Develop and apply a strong knowledge of the automotive/EV industry, client types, end-user environment/learning needs and VinFast US KPIs/benchmarks to enable education programs to drive performance improvement and achieve learning objectives
  • Contribute to development and execution of Vinfast US training strategy and content for workforce development and performance enhancement
  • Support Senior Manager of Training with day to day tasks
Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education Psychology or a related field is preferred
  • Certification in Kirkpatrick evaluation is a plus
  • 5+ years of Instructional Design experience
  • Working knowledge of the automotive industry (e.g. retail and service operations)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines
  • Proficiency with technology suites for curriculum development (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio, InDesign, Adobe Creative)
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with content SMEs to discern learning priorities
  • Natural curiosity for learning new tools and technology
  • High attention to detail for applying brand standards and maintaining consistency of experience within and across courses
  • Advanced communication skills and proven experience communicating course vision through storyboarding and scripting
