Share Email Opening Title Intern  Post Internal Days 0   Category Article 31   Description Department: Catholic Guardian Services (CGS) Family Counseling and Wellness Center Status: Part-time (20 Hours a week) JOB TITLE: INTERN DEPARTMENT: CARE MANAGEMENT LOCATION: TBD REPORTS TO: LMSW SUPERVISOR(S) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Catholic Guardian welcomes highly motivated individuals who seek to gain training and experience, and eventually join the work force helping underserved children, and families. Under the supervision of experienced LMSW professionals, interns will train, develop and meet the 300 hour requirement as neccesary to become licensed. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Case management Evaluiation of clients needs. Conducting research for best practices for the development of underserved youth Partcipate as a member of a team charged with monitoring the welfare of children and families through polices, practices and case records. QUALIFICATIONS: Currently be pursuing a degree in social work, public policy, social policy or related field. Must posses strong writng, communication and analytical skills. Works well autonomously and as a member of a team.
