Benefits Support Specialist

Role Accountability

This position will provide administrative support for the Sales & Service teams of Allegacy Benefit Solutions.

Nature and Scope

This position interacts daily with Producers, Account Executives, and Account Managers. External relationships include clients and vendors.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Supports the Producers, AEs, and AMs of Allegacy Benefit Solutions with administrative functions.
  • Gathers data for entry into BP (CRM), keeps system updated on a daily basis.
  • Verifies client data prior to case installation/renewal; census data, cross-checking with data from forms
  • Create employee benefit booklets (paper and electronic)
  • Prepare client spreadsheets including rates, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance and ancillary benefits
  • Prepare Executive Summaries for clients with the assistance of the sales team
  • Miscellaneous administrative requests from team or clients.

Education and Experience

  • Education Required: High School Diploma
  • Education Preferred: Associates Degree or higher
  • Experience Required: 2 to 5 years of administrative experience in a Customer Service driven industry; proficient with Microsoft Excel,Word, and Power Point

  • Technically proficient in Microsoft; Word, Excel and Power Point.

  • Ability to conduct business in a professional manner, exercising personal discretion and independent judgment.

Education and Experience

 

  • Minimum of High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience and professionalism in the area of customer service.
