SUMMARY:
The Commercial Banking Administrator I provides administrative support to Savings Bank of Danbury's Commercial Lenders in relation to origination and maintenance of commercial loans. Responsible for daily administrative duties relating to commercial loan operations, payments and advances. Provides excellent customer service to SBD commercial customers. Interacts effectively with inter-departmental bank personnel, including Loan Servicing, Loan Documentation and Credit Administration.
Key responsibilities include, compliance with all banking regulations and the policies and procedures established by management, providing due diligence reports/data as requested by commercial lenders, providing support for commercial customer transactions, maintaining accuracy regarding the collection and review of loan closing documentation.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide customer support for advance/payment requests, wire transfers, depository relations and inquiries relating to all commercial banking issues
-Assist other departments with requests or questions relating to commercial customers or accounts
-Board new loans accurately and timely for quality assurance
-Accurately write payoff letters, memorandums to credit file and customer correspondence
-Set-up and maintain paper and electronic loan files, including scanning and indexing of all required loan closing documentation
-Review daily overdrafts for decisions and coordinate any necessary collection resolution
-Satisfy any outstanding post-close requirements and satisfy any outstanding post-close requirements
-Monitors daily transaction reports for accuracy and manages portfolio reports such as delinquency, maturities and pipeline
-Perform pre-origination due diligence, including credit reports, environmental screenings, municipal online property searches and other reports as required by collateral type
-Monitor collection of on-going financial reporting requirements
-Cross-train to perform duties relating to internal/external audits and regulatory examinations
